Underwater exploration is closely related to the depiction of underwater structures can be carried out using the seismic method. The seismic reflection method is one of the methods that is considered to be the best in delineating under water structures. Field seismic data acquisition contains a lot of noise, namely unexpected data originating from instruments, wave propagation or from environment that can lead results of the seismic cross-section being unclear. In seismic data processing, there are several methods to detect and attenuate multiple types of long-period multiples. Some of these methods include the F-K Filter and the Surface Related Multiple Elimination (SRME) methods. This study aims to evaluate the F-K Filter and Surface Related Multiple Elimination (SRME) methods in detecting and attenuating long-period multiple noise in 2D multichannel seismic data from Morowali Waters, Sulawesi. The F-K Filter method can attenuate the recorded noise, including multiples and cause the seismic cross-sectional signal to be seen more clearly. The SRME method succeeded in attenuating multiple types of long-period multiples in the near offset zone and also managed to maintain most of the primary reflectors.
