Efisiensi Penggunaan Ruangan terhadap Indikator Kinerja Output di Kampus IPB

Abstract

IPB University memiliki berbagai jenis ruangan yang tersebar pada unit-unit fakultas maupun departemen. Namun, ketersediaan ruangan antarfakultas dan antardepartemen tidak merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan sejauh mana efisiensi penggunaan ruangan fakultas/departemen terkait dengan indikator kinerja output yang dihasilkan. Output yang dimaksud adalah jumlah lulusan, jumlah publikasi/HKI (Hak Kekayaan Intelektual), dan pendapatan kerja sama yang telah dicapai pada tahun 2018-2020. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis biplot, plot tebaran, dan statistika deskriptif sederhana. Secara umum, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa belum ada fakultas yang relatif efisien dalam menghasilkan semua output sekaligus. Hanya beberapa fakultas yang relatif efisien dalam menghasilkan dua output, yaitu FEM dan Sekolah Bisnis yang cenderung efisien dalam menghasilkan lulusan dan pendapatan kerja sama serta FAHUTAN dan FEMA yang cenderung efisien dalam menghasilkan publikasi/HKI dan pendapatan kerja sama. Namun, FKH, FPIK, dan FAPET cenderung tidak efisien dalam menghasilkan seluruh output. Departemen Arsitektur Lanskap, Statistika, dan Teknologi Industri Pertanian relatif efisien dalam menghasilkan lulusan dan publikasi/HKI, sementara Departemen Ilmu Produksi dan Teknologi Peternakan dengan Ilmu Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan relatif tidak efisien.

IPB University has various rooms spread across faculties and departments units. However, the availability of space interfaculty and interdepartment is not distributed. This research aims to describe how the efficiency of the faculty/department rooms is associated with the output performance indicators produced. The output performance indicators are the number of graduates, number of publications/IPR (Intelectual Property Right), and cooperation income that has been achieved in 2018-2020. The analysis used is biplot analysis, scatter plot, and simple descriptive statistics. Generally, the results obtained show that no faculty that is relatively efficient in producing all outputs at once. Only a few faculties are relatively efficient in producing two outputs, such as Faculty of Economics and Management with School of Business which tend to be efficient in producing graduates and cooperation income, then Faculty of Forestry with Human Ecology, which tend to be efficient in producing publications/IPR and cooperation income. However, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Fisheries and Marine Science, and Animal Science tend to be inefficient in producing all outputs. Department of Landscape Architecture, Statistics, and Agroindustrial Technology are relatively efficient in producing graduates and publications/IPR, while Department of Animal Production and Technology with Nutrition and Feed Technology are relatively inefficient.
