Abstract: Kenaikan jabatan merupakan penghargaan yang diberikan atas prestasi kerja dan pengabdian pegawai terhadap negara ataupun perusahaan, serta sebagai dorongan kepada pegawai untuk lebih meningkatkan prestasi kerja dan pengabdiannya. Dalam menentukan kenaikan jabatan karyawan dibutuhkan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai harapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan suatu metode pengambilan keputusan untuk menentukan kenaikan jabatan karyawan di PT. Indah Logistik Internasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga metode sistem pendukung keputusan yaitu AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), metode gabungan AHP-TOPSIS (Technique for Others Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) dan metode gabungan AHP-SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan delapan kriteria dimana masing-masing kriteria memiliki tingkat kepentingannya masing-masing. Metode AHP digunakan untuk pembobotan masing-masing kriteria. Metode gabungan AHP-TOPSIS dan AHP-SAW digunakan untuk menentukan peringkat seluruh karyawan yang telah dievaluasi terhadap masing-masing kriteria yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kedua metode menghasilkan lima karyawan yang berhak naik jabatan dengan peringkat yang sama. Metode AHP-SAW lebih baik digunakan dalam penentuan kenaikan jabatan karyawan pada PT. Indah Logistik Internasional karena metodenya yang mudah dipelajari dan proses hitungannya lebih sederhana.
Promotion is a reward given to the employees as their work performance and service to the country or company, as well as an encouragement to them for further improvement of their work performance and service. In determining an employee's promotion, one needs a decision support system to get the result as it is expected. This study aims to apply a decision support system’s method to determine employee’s promotion at PT. Indah Logistik International. This study uses three methods of decision support systems, namely AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), the combined method of AHP-TOPSIS (Technique for Others Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and the combined method of AHP-SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). The study is conducted based on eight criteria in which each criteria has its own level of importance. The AHP method is used for the weighting of each criteria. The combined method of AHP-TOPSIS and AHP-SAW is employed to rank all employees who have been evaluated against each existing criteria. Based on the result of this study, both methods determine five employees to be rewarded a promotion. The AHP-SAW method is better in determining the promotion of employees at PT. Indah Logistik Internasional because the method is easy to learn and the calculation process is more simple.
