Abstract: Bunga krisan merupakan salah satu komoditas florikultura yang mempunyai jumlah produksi terus meningkat.
Chrysanthemum is one of the floricultural commodities that has an increasing number of productions. Most of Indonesia's chrysanthemum flowers are exported to Japan but Indonesia only fulfills 0.19% of the total exports of chrysanthemums to Japan. This study aims to: (1) analyze the comparative advantage of chrysanthemums in the Japanese market and (2) analyze the competitive advantages of chrysanthemums in the Japanese market. This study uses the Revealed Comparative Advantage method to analyze the comparative advantage of chrysanthemums in Japan and the Export Product Dynamic and Diamond's Porter methods to analyze the competitive advantages of chrysanthemums in Japan. The results of the research show that Indonesia does not have a comparative advantage, while in terms of competitive advantage, Indonesian chrysanthemum exports have a relatively weak competitive advantage. Indonesian chrysanthemum flowers are in a falling star position and the company's strategy, structure and competition factors are a national advantage for chrysanthemum exports, while condition factors, related and supporting industry factors, demand factors are still a problem in Indonesian chrysanthemum exports.
