Abstract: | Inti atom tersusun atas nukleon-nukleon yang saling berinteraksi. Interaksi
The nucleus of an atom is composed of interacting nucleons. Nucleon interactions in atomic nuclei have been simulated in previous studies using a common Woods-Saxon potential with a binary system. But the simulation only worked up to the nucleus of the helium and its isotope. The interaction of nucleons in the nucleus with mass numbers above the nucleus of helium has not been successfully simulated. This study aims to simulate the interaction of nucleons in the nucleus with a mass number above the nucleus of helium and compare the simulation results of each atomic nucleus. The potential used is the modified Woods-Saxon potential while still using a binary system. Nucleon interaction patterns are found through numerical analysis of the reduced orbital mass equations of the two masses interacting in a binary system using 4 th order Runge Kutta method. This research is able to simulate up to the nucleus of beryllium-10 with additional experiments on the nucleus of boron and carbon. The mass characteristic of interacting nucleons affects the potential form and the characteristics of nucleon interaction pattern of each atomic nucleus. Binary systems can only be applied to atomic nuclei with small masses. |
