Distance learning may increase the risk of internet addiction due to increased use of the internet and decreased interaction between adolescents and friends. These risks can be prevented through positive interaction between mother and child and the resilience of adolescents. This study aims to analyze the influence of mother-child interaction and resilience on internet addiction on adolescents during distance learning period. The design used in this study was a quantitative research approach with an explanatory design. There were 202 respondents that consisted of students studying at junior and senior high schools, take a lesson via distance learning, and living with their mother during the Covid-19 pandemi. The data collection used non-probability and the sampling technique was convenience sampling. The results found that there was significant positive correlation between mother-child interaction and adolescent’s resilience and there was significant negative correlation between mother-child interaction and adolescent’s internet addiction. Meanwhile, the regression test shows that mother-child interaction has a significant positive effect on adolescent’s resilience and significant negative effect on adolescent’s internet addiction. However, there was no significant relationship between adolescent’s resilience and internet addiction. There’s also no significant effect of adolescent’s resilience on internet addiction.
