| Abstract: | Kemiskinan merupakan masalah yang berkaitan erat dengan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan di suatu wilayah. Provinsi Papua merupakan salah satu wilayah di Indonesia yang memiliki angka kemiskinan tertinggi di Indonesia. Kemiskinan di Provinsi Papua didominasi di perdesaan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kemiskinan di Provinsi Papua. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Data-data time- series yang digunakan dalam penelitian dimulai dari tahun 2015 sampai 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor pertanian, infrastruktur jalan dalam kondisi baik, tenaga kerja sektor pertanian, serta rata-rata lama sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam menurunkan kemiskinan. Sedangkan persentase penduduk menurut keluhan sakit variabel yang tidak menunjukkan hasil signifikan dalam menurunkan tingkat kemiskinan. Poverty is an issue that is linked with economic and prosperity in a region. Papua Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has the highest poverty rate in Indonesia. Poverty in Papua Province is dominated in rural areas. This research aims to analyze the factors that generate poverty in Papua Province. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis of panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The time-series datas that are used, began from 2015 until 2019. The results of the regression show that agriculture economic growth, road infrastructure in good condition, agriculture labour, and mean years of schooling have significant effect in reducing poverty. Meanwhile percentage of people who admit their sickness has no significant effect in reducing the rate of poverty. |
