Abstract: Ekosistem mangrove memiliki keterkaitan dengan biota laut khususnya perairan payau.
The mangrove ecosystem is related to marine life, especially brackish waters. The mangrove ecosystem functions as a nursery ground, a spawning ground, and a feeding ground. This study aims to identify the environmental conditions of the mangrove waters of Sumberasri Village, identify marine biota that is used by the community around the area in the waters of Alas Purwo National Park (TNAP), identify patterns of utilization of marine biota in TNAP waters by the community around the area. The research method used is literature study, field observation, and interviews using SWOT analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that in Bedul Block waters there were 13 types of pisces, 6 types of crustace and 3 types of molluscs. The fishing community of Sumberasri Village uses the catch of mangrove biota by selling it to collectors. Processing of biota types outside of capture fisheries does not yet exist. The catch, which is usually sold directly to collectors or consumers, should be processed first so that the selling value is higher.
