Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi dan sikap keuangan terhadap perilaku berhutang nasabah Bank Berjanji. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Haurgeulis, Kabupaten Indramayu dengan melibatkan 62 nasabah Bank Berjanji. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode snowball sampling dan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara tatap muka menggunakan kuesioner. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa contoh memiliki tingkat literasi keuangan yang terkategori rendah. Sikap dan perilaku bijak dalam berhutang nasabah Bank Berjanji berada pada kategori moderat. Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada literasi keuangan, sikap, dan perilaku berhutang di antara responden berdasarkan lama menjadi nasabah Bank Berjanji. Pendidikan, literasi keuangan dan sikap berhubungan positif signifikan dengan perilaku bijak dalam berhutang. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan dan sikap berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perilaku bijak dalam berhutang sedangkan lama menjadi nasabah berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap perilaku bijak dalam berhutang.
This study aims to analyze the influence of Financial literacy and financial attitudes on debt behavior among Bank Berjanji customers. Involving about 62 Bank Berjanji’s customers as respondents, this research was conducted in Haurgeulis Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency. This sampling used a snowball sampling method and the data were collected through face to face survey using a structured questionnaire. This study found that the level of financial literacy was categorized as low, while the attitude and wise debt behavior was in the moderate category. There is no significant difference on financial literacy, attitude, and debt behavior between respondents in term of length of time being a customer of Bank Berjanji. Education, financial literacy, and attitudes have a significant positive relationship with wise debt behavior. The regression test result show that financial literacy and attitude have a significant positive effect on wise debt behavior. In contrary, the length of time being a customer has a significant negative effect on wise debt behavior.
