Abstract: Human capital merupakan pendorong utama kemakmuran dan produktivitas ekonomi yang dapat dikembangkan dengan memastikan individu mampu mempertahankan kesehatan yang baik dan memiliki keterampilan serta kemampuan yang diminta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi aspek kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman serta merumuskan strategi pengembangan human capital ekonomi syariah di Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini adalah ANP – SWOT (Analytical Network Process – Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan dan peluang menjadi prioritas utama dalam menunjang perkembangan human capital ekonomi syariah. Variabel kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang paling berpengaruh yaitu Indonesia memiliki lembaga pendidikan keuangan syariah terbanyak, pemetaan dan sinergi antar berbagai pihak dalam research and development ekonomi syariah yang belum optimal, populasi penduduk Indonesia mayoritas muslim, serta stigma negatif yang berkembang terhadap isu ke-Islaman termasuk didalamnya ekonomi syariah. Strategi yang paling prioritas untuk diterapkan adalah program literasi ekonomi syariah.
Human capital is a key driver of economic prosperity and productivity which can be developed by ensuring that individuals are able to maintain good health, acquire the skills and required abilities. The purpose of this research is to identify the aspects of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and to formulate strategy for developing Islamic economics human capital in Indonesia. ANP – SWOT (Analytical Network Process – Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) is used to analyze data. The results show that strength and opportunity are the top priorities in supporting the development of Islamic economic human capital. The most influential variables of strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat are that Indonesia has the most Islamic financial education institutions, mapping and synergies between various parties in Islamic economics research and development are not optimal, the majority of Indonesia’s population is Muslim, as well as the negative stigma that develops on the issue of Islam is included in the Islamic economics, respectively. The most priority strategy to be implemented is establishing Islamic economics literacy program.
