| Abstract: | Kadar air pada tanaman cabai sangat penting bagi pertumbuhan tanaman.
Kebutuhan air tanaman cabai dipengaruhi oleh akar yang akan menyerap nutrisi
dan air pada media tanam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan pengaruh
ukuran akar dengan tingkat resistansi dan aliran arus listrik pada tanaman cabai
rawit Bonita serta menampilkan citra dari pertumbuhan akar tanaman cabai rawit
Bonita. Pertumbuhan akar yang menjalar ke tanah dapat diukur melalui metode
geolistrik salah satunya tomografi resistivitas listrik. Cara kerjanya adalah tingkat
resistivitas sebuah bidang diukur guna mencari adanya material di dalamnya.
Pengukuran menggunakan pot 0.4 m dengan ditanami benih cabai di tengahnya.
Konfigurasi yang digunakan yaitu konfigurasi Wenner karena sederhana dan cocok
untuk bidang yang relatif kecil. Interpretasi tahanan jenis dilakukan dengan aplikasi
RES2DINV yang menghasilkan citra 2D pertumbuhan akar. Hasil citra konfigurasi
Wenner menunjukan bahwa adanya pertumbuhan akar cabai dari hari ke-0 hingga
hari ke-35. Nilai resistivitas akar cabai semakin besar dari hari ke hari menunjukan
bahwa adanya pertumbuhan. Pertumbuhan akar kurang signifikan karena adanya
pengaruh dari tegangan yang diinjeksikan saat pengukuran, tegangan listrik dapat
menghambat pertumbuhan tanaman. Water content in chili plants is very important for plant growth. The water needs of chili plants are influenced by the roots that will absorb nutrients and water in the planting medium. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the root size with resistance levels and electric current flow in Bonita cayenne pepper plants and displays images of root growth of Bonita Cayenne Pepper plants. Root growth that spreads to the ground can be measured by one of the geoelectric method, it is electrical resistivity tomography. The way it works is the level of resistance of a plane is measured to find the material in it. Measurements using a 0.4 m pot with chili seeds that planted in the middle. The configuration used is the Wenner configuration because it is simple and suitable for relatively small fields. Interpretation of resistivity was carried out using RES2DINV application which produced a 2D image of root growth. Result of Wenner configuration image shows that there is growth of chili roots from day 0 to day 35. The resistivity value of chili roots is getting bigger from day to day. Hence, days indicate that there is growth. Root growth is less significant due to the influence of the stress injected when measurement undergo, the electric voltage can inhibit plant growth. |
