Abstract: | Human body measurement data is important in designing various tools for
humans, such as benches, workspace, driving room, agricultural tools and
machinery. Measurement of human body dimension is included in the subdiscipline
of ergonomics named anthropometry. The application of sensor and computer
technology enable anthropometric measurements to be contactless. This study was
aimed to conduct dynamic anthropometric measurements using Red, Green, Blue,
and Depth (RGB-D) sensors of the Kinect. The research began with the calibration
of the measurement system. Anthropometric measurements were performed on 110
subjects consisted of 55 men and 55 women. Dynamic anthropometric
measurements were conducted manually using the anthropolometer, beside the
skeletal tracking function of the Kinect measurement. The function of skeletal
tracking was applied to read 19 joints found in humans. The results of simple linear
regression shown the average correlation value of 110 subjects and 14 variables of
measurement was 0.7 and had a strong relationship between the result of manual
measurements with the result of measurements using the RGB-D sensor. In
addition, the error value based on the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE)
was 4.6% and the accuracy categorized as high. This results showed that dynamic
anthropometric measurement method using the RGB-D sensor was recommended
to be used. Data dimensi tubuh manusia menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam merancang berbagai alat untuk manusia, seperti bangku, ruang kerja, ruang kendali, alat dan mesin pertanian. Ilmu ukur dimensi tubuh manusia termasuk dalam rumpun ilmu ergonomika yang disebut antropometri. Pengaplikasian teknologi sensor dan komputer memungkinkan pengukuran antropometri dapat dilakukan tanpa sentuhan langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengukuran antropometri dinamis dengan menggunakan sensor Red, Green, Blue, dan Depth (RGB-D) pada Kinect. Penelitian ini diawali dengan tahap kalibrasi pada sistem pengukuran. Pengukuran antropometri dinamis dilakukan pada 110 subjek manusia yang terdiri dari 55 laki-laki dan 55 wanita. Pengukuran dengan metode manual menggunakan antropolometer. Pengukuran menggunakan sensor RGB-D dilakukan dengan fungsi skeletal tracking yang terdapat pada Kinect. Skeletal tracking berfungsi dengan membaca 19 titik sendi yang terdapat pada manusia. Hasil dari regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan rata–rata nilai korelasi dari 110 subjek dan 14 variabel pengukuran sebesar 0,7 dan memiliki kategori hubungan yang kuat antara hasil pengukuran manual dengan hasil pengukuran menggunakan sensor RGB-D. Selain itu, nilai galat berdasarkan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) sebesar 4,6 % dan memiliki kategori ketepatan tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan metode pengukuran antropometri dinamis menggunakan sensor RGB-D dapat direkomendasikan. |
