Abstract: Nelayan di Kelurahan Pasir Jambak masih belum bisa mengoptimalkan hasil tangkapannya, padahal disana memiliki sumberdaya ikan yang melimpah. Hal ini disebabkan karena keterbatasan informasi dan pengetahuan nelayan terhadap dinamika daerah penangkapan ikan baik secara temporal maupun secara spasial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan produktivitas tangkapan secara temporal dan spasial, serta mengevaluasi daerah tangkapan ikan berbasis ukuran panjang dan produktivitas hasil tangkapan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis pendekatan terhadap nilai CPUE (Catch Per Unit Effort) dan analisis komposisi ukuran panjang ikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas tertinggi untuk penangkapan ikan peperek terjadi pada musim timur terutama pada bulan Juni. Analisis hasil tangkapan menunjukkan bahwa daerah penangkapan peperek yang potensial terdapat di zona A, C, dan zona D. Selain produktivitas tangkapan yang relatif tinggi, komposisi ukuran ikan yang tertangkap di tiga zonasi A, C dan D juga didominasi oleh kategori layak tangkap.
Fishers in the Pasir Jambak sub-district are still unable to optimize their catch, even though they have abundant fish resources. This is due to the limited information and knowledge of fishers on the dynamics of fishing grounds, both temporally and spatially. This study aims to determine the productivity of catches temporally and spatially and to evaluate the fish catchment area based on the length and productivity of the catch. The research method used is qualitative and quantitative methods by using an analytical approach to the value of CPUE (Catch Per Unit Effort) and analysis of the composition of the length of the fish. The results of this study indicate that the highest productivity for peperek fishing occurs in the eastern monsoon, especially in June. The results of the catch analysis show that the potential fishing grounds for peperek are in zone A, C, and zone D. In addition to the relatively high catch productivity, the composition of the size of the fish caught in the three zoning A, C and D is also dominated by the capture fit the category.
