Abstract: Keseimbangan antara kehidupan pekerjaan dan kehidupan di luar pekerjaan telah dipandang sebagai hal penting oleh angkatan kerja pada era yang didominasi oleh generasi milenial. Work life balance merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi employee engagement. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis persepsi karyawan dalam memandang work life balance dan employee engagement, menganalisis pengaruh dimensi work life balance yang terdiri dari Work Interference Personal Life (WIPL), Personal Life Interference Work (PLIW), Work Enhancement of Personal Life (WEPL), dan Personal Life Enhancement of Work (PLEW) terhadap employee engagement di PT Bank X Cabang Bursa Efek Jakarta. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan data sekunder berupa studi literatur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, work life balance berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement. Sementara itu, hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel WIPL dan PLIW berpengaruh positif, sedangkan variabel WEPL dan PLEW tidak berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement.
The balance between work life and non work life has been considered as important thing by the workforces in this era. Work life balance is one of the factors that can affect employee engagement. The purpose of this study was to analyze employees’ views and perceptions towards work life balance and employee engagement, to analyze the influence of the work life balance dimensions consisting of Work Interference Personal Life (WIPL), Personal Life Interference Work (PLIW), Work Enhancement of Personal Life (WEPL), and Personal Life Enhancement of Work (PLEW) on employee engagement at PT Bank X Cabang Bursa Efek Jakarta. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through questionnaires and secondary data in the form of literature studies. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously, work life balance affected employee engagement. Meanwhile, the results of the study partially showed that the WIPL and PLIW variables have positive effect, while the WEPL and PLEW variables have no effect on employee engagement.
