Abstract: The flight activity of Liriomyza huidobrensis (Blanchard) (Diptera: Agromyzidae) on potato was studied at the field station of Lembang Vegeteble Research Institute, West Java (alt. 1250 m) from June to September 1997. The study covered the time and flight positioned of L. huidobrensis on the plants. Adults flight activity were observed at 07.00, 09.00, 11.00, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00 h and 07.00 by using yellow stcky traps positioned at 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90 cm above ground level. The results 07.00 to 11.00 with positioned at 15 cm and 30 cm above ground level.
