dc.description.abstract	Arphids, alates and apterae, found on 15 solanaceous plants in West Java were identified. Those aphids were collected on their respective plant species in locations around Bogor, Cipanas, Lembang. Pangalengan and Garut, with varying elevation from 200 m to 1360 m above sea level. Twenty two aphids species were identified from 15 solanaceous species, nine species of which have solanaceous plant as their true hosts. Apparently the other 13 species were only temporarily resting on particular plants, before they could find their true hosts.	id
