Perbandingan Perilaku Komunikasi Peternak di Desa Urban dan Desa Rural

Abstract

Objective of this resekh was to determine and compare the communication behavior between urban fanners and rural rural fanners to showed indirect effect of media industrialization. The research was designed as a swey, conducted on October and November 1997 in Bogor, Tanget;m& and BeWl West Java, involved 75 fanners in urban village and 75 farmem in nual village. Result of the research showed that the communication behavior of the farmers in urban village characterized by; (1) fumen were less involved in interpersonal communication and listening to the radio, (2) the radio used as news and information source, (3) more exposed by newspaper, and (4) morc interesting to watch television.
