Abstract: Ekosistem mangrove adalah kelompok vegetasi yang tumbuh dan berkembang pada daerah pasang surut pantai berlumpur yang masih mendapat cukup aliran air dan dipengaruhi oleh sifat-sifat fisik laut. Ekosistem mangrove memiliki jasa ekosistem yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jasa ekosistem dan merumuskan langkah pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove di Desa Apar. Jasa ekosistem mangrove dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif dan dilihat dari kekurangan dan kelebihan dari masing-masing jasa ekosistem. Jasa ekosistem mangrove utama yang berhasil diidentifikasi adalah perikanan tangkap, penyerap karbon, produktivitas primer, dan ekowisata. Langkah pengelolaan untuk ekosistem mangrove Desa Apar adalah dengan melakukan penambahan penanaman mangrove, pembatasan jumlah kunjungan sesuai daya dukung serta penentuan harga tiket untuk ekowisata, dan memperbaiki sarana kawasan ekowisata. Mangrove ecosystem is a group of vegetation that grows and develops in muddy coastal tidal area that still get enough water flow and influenced by the physical properties of the sea. It has high ecosystem services. This study aims to identify ecosystem service and formulate management of mangrove ecosystems in Apar Village. Ecosystem services were analyzed using descriptive method, while management measures were formulated from advantages and disadvantages of services and the valuation. Main mangrove ecosystem services that had been identified were fisheries capture, carbon sink, primery productivity, and ecotourism. Based on those the management measuired planed were mangrove planting, importing carrying capacity and ticket prices, and improving ecotourism facilities.
