Modifikasi waktu berbunga variets tetua padi hibrida (Oryza Sativa L.) dan pengaruhnya terhadap viabilitas benih

Abstract

Unsynchronous flowering of parental lnes due to the effect of genetic X environment interaction is a mayor constrain to high yield in hybrid rice seed production. In order to improve the flowering synchronization, a research was conducted to study the effect of foliar fertilization on flowering date, seed yield and seed viability of some parental lines of hybrid rice. The research was conducted at Muara Research Station, Bogor in December 2003 - May 2004 and at the Seed Science and Technology Laboratory, IPB in June - December 2004.
