Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Pulau Lingayan Untuk Pengembangan Budidaya Rumput Laut dan Ikan Kerapu

Abstract

This research was done in Lingayan island. The aims of this research are; (1) to identify the environmental resources potencies for enhance seaweeds culture and grouper culture; (2) To analyse economic visibility effort in enhancing seaweeds and grouper in Lingayan island; and (3) develop seaweed culture and groupers culture strategy in Lingayan Island. The research used Geografis Information System Analysis, Visibility study, SWOT analysis and QSPM. The potencies of environment resources in Lingayan Island for seaweeds culture was 786,5 ha and to grouper culture was 119,2 ha. For seaweed culture, with capacity per unit is about 9.166 units, and groupers culture is about 4.985 units. Cashflow of activities of seaweed cultures analysed by R/C 2.13 and groupers cultures by R/C: 1.23; NPV: Rp.9.870.509; Net B/C: 1.07 dan IRR: 22.81%. The primary strategies of management are: (1) to facilitate a seeds supply to support seaweeds culture and groupers cultures development, (2) to facilitate the local community achievement of enhancing marine culture activity as a primary livelihood sustainable activity, (3) to facilitate local community in a fishers group and include training programs, (4) to facilitate capital adequacy effort for marine culture, (5) community empowerment and to enhancing economy of community at Lingayan island with encreasing of productivity and quality marine culture product, (6) to facilitate opening of broader market of which can be accessed by local community, (7) Build spatial planning for marine culture zone in Lingayan island.
