      Abstract
      Mackerel tuna is one of the commodities that are targeted by fishermen catchment of Anambas Island District. This is because the mackerel tuna is an important economic fish in Anambas Islands District. The production of the catch in Anambas Islands District in 2015 was 7497.8 tons and 20% of the total catch was a tuna. The marketing of mackerel tuna in Anambas includes the Anambas Islands district and the surrounding big cities such as Tanjung Pinang and Batam, not including inter-provincial or export markets. This study aims to analyze the patterns of marketing channels of mackerel tuna, marketing functions and marketing institutions involved, and to know the marketing efficiency of tuna by marketing margin and fisherman's share. This research was conducted in Tebang Village, Palmatak District, Anambas Islands Regency. The research was conducted in March 2016. The data collection method used in this research is triangulation. Informants and respondents were determined by purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Respondents who are determined in this study are fishermen and the Department of Marine and Fisheries Anambas Islands District. Channel marketing channels in Anambas Islands involve fishermen, collecting traders, retailers and end consumers. The highest margin occurred in collecting merchants with the value of Rp 15.000 per kg, the percentage of 60% and the lowest was in the local market traders and the long-distance market with the value of Rp 5,000, the percentage of 17% and 33%. The most efficient marketing channel for tuna is first marketing channel.
