The increase of organic vegetable demand and unavailablity of organic mineral nutrient for production of lettuce by hydroponic leads an attempt to produce and use organic mineral nutrient that can be used for hydroponic system. The aim of this research was to analyze possibility of substitution of organic mineral nutrient to anorganic mineral nutrient for production of lettuce in hydroponic system. This research was conducted at Hydroponic Amazing Farm green house Karakal Cibedug Bogor from November to December 2007. This research was a factorial experiment with 3 factors that arranged in complete blok design with 3 replication. Those factors were Fertilizers (P1= organic mineral nutrient Nd; P2= anorganic mineral nutrient AB mix); Nutrient Concentration (A1= 1.5 mS-1 ; A2= EC 2.25 mS-1; A3 = EC 3.00 mS-1), and the Frequency of watering ( T1= every 5 minutes and T2 = every 10 minutes). The results showed that Nd organic mineral nutrient with EC 2.25 mS-1 and 3.00 mS-1 and frequency of watering every 5 minutes gave the highest value to all parameters except the plant height plant fresh weight, dry leaves, and the chlorophyl content. This research also showed that Nd organic mineral nutrient with either EC 1.50 mS-1 or EC 2.25 mS-1 could substitute anorganic mineral nutrient.id
