Studies on Opportunity of Ecotourism Development in Rawa Danau and its Vicinities Serang Regency, Province of Banten.
Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kondisi lingkungan Rawa Danau dan sekitarnya yang akan dikembangkan menjadi kawasan ekowisata. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara terhadap masyarakat di sekitar obyek wisata dan wisatawan yang datang di Banten Lama dan Anyer. The objective of this research is to identify and analyze the conditions of Rawa Danau environment and its vicinities related to the development of ecotourism. Data collected on the community about the objects of tourism in Rawa Danau and of tourists visiting to Banten Lama and Anyer was conducted by means of interview. It included obtaining descriptive information suited to both narratives and maps. The physical factors included topography, soil and rainfall.
This synthesizing step was mapping the physical resources and aggregating them by means of a geograhic information system (GIS). Equipment used for recording the data of GIS consisted of GPS Garmin III Plus, camera and gauge, and an equipment for water quality analysis. The identification of potential destination zone is of great help to planners and developers. The process used was based on generalizations of market and resource factors of the region.
