Simulasi pelaksanaan seleksi dan sistem perkawinan pada puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to utilize the available spread sheet software such as Lotus 1-2-3 for the simulation or selection programs. After validating, the simulation program was used to investigate selected and correlated responses to short and long-term selection and mating systems in Japanese Quail.The result of the study may be useful as a basis for genetic improvement of Fivestockin general and popularity in particular. The simulation programs and mating system may also be utilized in teaching and animal breeding coueses.
