The number of unemployment graduate students is increasing by 0.32 percent from February 2013 until February 2015 (BPS 2015). Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) as the university of Statistics graduates maker resulting in Statistics graduates that are needed in various work fields, but the company has qualification in selecting the workforce. Consequently Statistics program graduates tend to be in unemployment status because the amount of time for getting the uncertain first job. Therefore this research aim is to identify variables associated with the amount of waiting time of IPB’s Statistics undergraduates program for getting their first job and identify the relation between GPA and their first job field. The data used is primary data through questionnaires. The unemployment graduates that have not worked until the end of research time on April 2015 and continue their master study is called by censored data. The analysis relating to the amount of waiting time and censored data is survival analysis with Cox regression while correspondence analysis is used for knowing the relation between GPA and the first job. Variables associated with the amount of waiting time to obtain first job is sex and GPA in the 5% significance level. Correspondence analysis showed that the Ministry, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), and Pertamina are works field of IPB’s Statistics program study graduates who have GPA greater or equal to 3.5.
