Darmaga Campus of Bogor Agricultural University has been developing rapidly, depleting openspace and causing carbon dioxide emission to the atmosphere. Regarding on this matter, Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDS) need to be considered. The purpose of this study was to estimate the amount of above carbon stock in 1989, 1999, 2009, and 2014 by using satellite imagerier. The above carbon stocks were estimated by allometric equation and field measurement of stand parameter (diameter, height, and number of trees) which collected in August – November 2014. Prediction the above ground carbon stock in 2025 was also conducted by using correlation between Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), field measurement as well as Masterplan of Campus IPB consideration. Results showed that the amount of carbon stored reserves highly increased in 1999 – 2009 and decreased in 2009 - 2025.
