Analisis Kinerja Operasional PPP Muncar Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur.

Abstract

Fishing port has functions as the center of economic development and public facilities. Assessment of performance used to determine how a fishing port run it function and role. This study was conducted in Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port to determine the activity and operational performance also formulate simple strategy to improve operational performance in Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port. Descriptive analysis used to determine the operational activities, scoring method to determine the operational performance and fishbone diagram analysis to formulate a strategy of improved performance in Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port. The Results of analysis showed that in the last five years (2010-2014) landing activity and activity supplies tend to decrease, except fuel supplies that increase. Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port does not do pure auction activity, but do a sampling weight in auction area. Operational performance of Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port in 2014 is enough but not optimal. This result suggests that there are some service facilities that should be improved by the manager of Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port. The performance improvement strategy problems in the field, namely in terms of facilities, fish resources, human and institutional resources. The effort to improve the operational performance in Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port can be done by cooperating between the public fishery entrepreneurs, managers of Muncar Banyuwangi Coastal Fishing Port, and the government.
