Faktor–Faktor Mempengaruhi Nelayan dalam Pelelangan Ikan dan Kelembagaan Terkait di TPI PPI Karangsong Indramayu.

Abstract

Karangsong Fish Landing Base (PPI) which has an activity of fish auction and another port activity is the most crowded fishing port in Indramayu. This research aim to get factors that affect a fisherman to sell the fish catches through a fish auction in PPI Karangsong, to know the institutional role and associated regulations to a fish auction activities in PPI Karangsong. This research method used a case study with a unit case is TPI PPI Karangsong. Qualitative and quantitative descriptive method are used to analyze factors that affect a fisherman to sell the fish catches through a fish auction in TPI PPI Karangsong and the institutional role. The results shows that there are three dominant factor which influence a fisherman to sell the fish catches through an auction mechanism and there are three institutional whose role in that fish auction activities in TPI PPI Karangsong Indramayu.
