      Abstract
      Accelerated Aging Machine (MPC IPB 77-1 MM) is a tool that can accelerate the deterioration of seed by using 96% ethanol vapor. Utilization of these machines are intended to be seen accelerated aging of seeds and comparing it with the natural deterioration during storage. This research aims to determine the suitability of loss of viability, vigor and increased electrical conductivity of soybean seeds that have accelerated aging using ethanol vapor compare to natural storage and estimate the vigor storability. The research consisted of two experiments is a natural storage and accelerated aging. Natural storage consists of 7 storage periods are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 months and accelerated aging also consists of 7 periods are 0, 1x15, 2x15, 3x15, 4x15, 5x15 and 6x15 minutes. Results showed that the rate of decline suitability viability, vigor and an increase in electrical conductivity between natural storage with accelerated aging using ethanol vapor. MPC IPB 77-1 MM can estimate vigor storability of soybean seed on the benchmarks Germination (DB), Vigor Index (IV) and Speed Growth (KCT). KCT benchmarks more sensitive in predicting vigor storability, but a measure electrical conductivity is not sensitive in predicting vigor storability. Tanggamus and Wilis varieties have high vigor storability, while the varieties Kaba and Sinabung have lower vigor storability.
