Analisis Struktur Ekonomi dan Sektor Unggulan di Kabupaten dan Kota Sukabumi (Periode Tahun 2007-2013)

Abstract

Economic growth, economic structure and the decrease of inequality is of success barometer of economic development. This research aims to analyze the economic structure, growth sectors of the economy and leading economic sector at Regency and City of Sukabumi in 2007-2013. The secondary data of this research is limited from 2007 to 2013 with the method of contribution analysis of sector, shift share, location quotient, MRP and overlay. Economic structure in Regency and City of Sukabumi in 2007-2013 based on tertiary sector. The results of this research show that according to the method of shift share, the sector has a progressive growth in Sukabumi Regency is construction sector and trade, hotel, and restaurant sector. While in the Sukabumi City is the electricity, gas, and water sector, trade, hotel, and restaurant sector, and transport/communications sector. Moreover, the results of overlay method show the leading sectors in the Sukabumi Regency is the mining sector. While the leading sector in the Sukabumi City is the construction sector, trade, hotel, and restaurant sector and transport/communication sector.
