Analisis Daya Saing dan Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Ekspor Spare Parts Indonesia ke Kawasan Amerika Latin
Abstract
Spare parts industry is one of growing value chain industries, it also has high value, and potency in Indonesia. Latin America region is one of nontraditional export market that has potency for Indonesia’s diversification of export destinations especially for spare parts products. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness and the factors affect Indonesia’s spare parts export to Latin American region from 2009 to 2013. The methods used in this paper are the Constant Market Share Analysis (CMSA) and gravity model with panel data methods. The CMSA results indicate that the average of competitiveness Indonesia’s spare parts export to Latin American period 2009 to 2013 influenced by the competitiveness effect. The gravity model results indicate factors that have significant impact to the value of Indonesia’s spare parts export are real GDP interaction of exporters and importers country, exchange rate importers country to Dollar, and export prices. Meanwhile, economic distance and import tariff have no significant impact on the value of Indonesia’s spare parts export.
