Studi Morfometrik Perna Viridis Linnaeus 1758 di Muara Angke dan Pelabuhanratu
Abstract
The water in North Jakarta is polluted water. This pollution affect the life of biotic in the water. Green mussel (Perna viridis) is one species that can live in that polluted water. Environment affect green mussel’s growth. The objective of present study is to compare the growth pattern and morphometric of Perna viridis in polluted area (Muara Angke) and less polluted area (Pelabuhanratu). This study used graphic analyse method to see the connection between each parameter. The results of this study proves there is morphometric difference in shell length with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 54.14 mm and 49.94 mm, shell width with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 25.86 mm and 24.77 mm , shell height with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 17.5 mm and 14.74 mm , shell weight with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 4.78 g and 3.52 g , shell length and shell weight ratio with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 13.28 and 15.41 , shell length and shell width ratio with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 2.11 and 2.02 , shell length and shell height ratio with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 3.33 and 3.4, shell width and shell height ratio with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 1.59 and 1.7, and condition index of Perna viridis with average for Muara Angke and Pelabuhanratu with value 12.14 and 12.98.
