Semi-discrete DNA breather in Peyrard- Bishop-Dauxois model with fifth-order-approximation Morse potential
Abstract
We discuss the existence of ONA breather in helicoidal Peyr.ud-B1shop-Oauxo1s model with fifth--0rder-approxima1ion Morse pocenrial based on sem1-d1screce approximation. This approximation handles the cases which are noc admitted in rhe previous model with fourth-order-approximation Morse potential. It is found chat che associated ONA breacher is governed by Quintic Nonlinear Schrooinger equation with restricted parameter sec. We give an example co explain its existence and dynamics. and confirm ir by numeric.JI integration of the discrete equation of motion with full Morse potential. Collision dynamics between the two contra-propagaring Quintic DNA breathers rs also discussed.
