      Abstract
      Goldband goatfish (Upeneus spp.) Is one type of fish landed in Labuan PPP. Goldband goatfish (Upeneus spp.) has economic value and are scattered throughout the Indonesian waters and is one of the target species in fishing activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the seasonal patterns of fish abundance and their Goldband goatfish arrest and estimating potential area of sustainable fish resource in PPP Labuan, Banten to know the status of utilization and policy making in the management of fish resources in the sustainable potential Goldband goatfish by PPP Labuan, Banten. The experiment was conducted in the District of PPP Labuan Labuan Banten Pandeglang. Based on the results of this study describe the overall condition of fish stocks Goldband goatfish overfishing that has not undergone biological and economical overfishing so that appropriate management strategies are needed so that resources can be exploited Goldband goatfish optmal. The addition of fishing effort should be made in the summer fishing season as June and August. The optimum efforts to maximize the economic benefits recommended by the bioeconomical model trips per year by 1057 with the arrest quota of 21481 kg per year.
