Studi Karakteristik Permukiman di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Ciliwung Hilir

Abstract

Ciliwung Watershed is one of watershed that across the Jakarta capital region. Ciliwung Watershed is categorized as super-priority watershed in Indonesia. The study was conducted in down stream of Ciliwung Watershed in Jakarta. The main objectives of this study were to analyze land cover changes, and to analyze characteristics of settlement in down stream of Ciliwung Watershed. Data were analyzed using Geographical Information System (GIS). Based in the result, it can be shown that land cover changes from green open space to built up area occured in down stream of Ciliwung watershed (70.07%). The settlement is dominated by the unplanned settlement (87.23%). The charactristics of the unplanned settlement are linier settlement patterns, very lage size of settlement, low to medium building density, and good condition of insfrastructure. Five recommendation have provided for landscape managing of settlement in down stream of Ciliwung Watershed.
