Factor’s tests by experiments must had been done to determine factor’s effect to the response variable. Mixed model is analysis model that had been able to used if there were fixed effects and random effects in an experimental design. An example of some experimental designs that have fixed effects and random effects is a split plot design. Analysis by mixed models has been applied for varieties influence experiment and urea fertilizer on rice yield. The study used a split plot design with environmental design selected was a randomized block design (RBD). The data used is the rice data of Biogen in 2012 which includes varieties (sub plot) as a random factor with 23 species, dose of urea (the main plot) as a fixed factor with four level and repeated in three groups. The response measured is the result of rice or grain (kg / ha). The results obtained in this study using a mixed model for the variety and interactions with urea fertilizer varieties which are random, the diversity of results obtained 33.3% of the total diversity. Also, fixed effects’s test show that the dose of urea fertilizer and groups are significant on α = 5%. Interaction between accession B.11283-6C-PN-5-MR-SL1-2-1-1 with urea fertilizer 300kg/ha gave the largest rice production.
