Breast cancer is classified as second cause of death in Indonesia after cervix. Medical treatments like chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation is not preferable tend to causes undesirable effect. Consuming natural substance or herbal medicine to prevent cancer is preferable considering safety and treatment cost. Capsaicin (trans-8-methyl-N-vanilyllyl-6-nonenamide), is a unique alkaloid found primarily in the fruit Capsicum genus and is what provides a spicy flavor. Recent studies have shown that capsaicin has chemo preventive properties and mechanism against certain carcinogen and anticancer activity by inhibited angiogenesis and proliferated cells. The aim of this research was to evaluate effect capsaicin activity to inhibit angiogenesis and proliferated mice mammary carcinoma induced by DMBA (7,12-dimethylbenz(a) anthracene) gifted by per oral route. This study was divided into 4 group, K1 (negative group), K2(positive group), K3 (prevent tumor by capsaicin), and K4 (treatment tumor with capsaicin).Capsaicin for prevention were given before of DMBA initiation and the other group were given capsaicin after given of DMBA initiation 10mg/kg bw. The result indicated that capsaicin in K3 caused a significant prevention breast cancer by delay the progression of mammary tumor in experimental animal (mice) (p>0,05) 1 ± 2 and inhibit mitotic cells (p>0,05) 1,2 ± 0,8
