Kajian Indikator Motivasi Dalam Memilih IPB Pada Mahasiswa Angkatan 50

Abstract

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) is one of higher education providers services in Indonesia. IPB much in demand among the community as a place to gain an education. This is shown by the increasing number of applicants each year in IPB. The aim of the research was to analyze the motivation of students IPB in choosing IPB as a place to gain higher education and knowing the dominant factor which could affect the decision in choosing IPB. The study used a survey method. Factor analysis was a multivariate method used to analyze the variables that allegedly related with one to another so that relation can be described and mapped or grouped on the right factors. The results of the research indicated that the dominant motivating factor in choosing IPB as continuing education was because IPB accreditation status with total of eigen value is 7,929 or 22,654%. The results from SEM showed that students IPB (2013/2014) more internally motivated than externally.
