Kajian Ekonomi Pembangunan Wisata Situ Rawa Gede Kelurahan Bojong Menteng, Kecamatan Rawa Lumbu, Kota Bekasi

Abstract

Situ Rawa Gede is one of the remaining natural lake located at Bojong Menteng Village, Rawa Lumbu sub-District, Bekasi City. Bekasi City through the City Department of Tourism plan to develop the Rawa Gede lake as a tourism area. This study aims to determine the factors willingness of visitor to pay entrance fee, to analyse the value of willingness to pay (WTP) and factors affect the value WTP and determine economic feasibility of Rawa Gede lake development tourism program. Study methods used in this research is case study and analysis methods used descriptive analysis, logit regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, investment feasibility analysis. The results of the study concluded that perception of most respondents to environmental quality of Situ Rawa Gede said that the air quality of Situ Rawa Gede is still quite good, bad water quality, cleanliness unclean and unbeautiful scenery around Situ Rawa Gede. Factors that influence willingness of respondents to pay is frequency of visits, age level, the perception of the water quality, and the perception of air quality there.The average value of respondents WTP Rp 6,014, factors affecting the value of respondents WTP are average income per month, frequency of visits, educational level, age, perception of water quality and air quality. The Rawa Gede lake tourism development is economically feasible with the result NPV Rp 38.059.396.614; Net B/C 2,30; IRR 23 percent at the level of rate 12 percent. The decrease in the total number of tourism visits by 43 percent cause the program not feasible.
