Abstract
AHMAD FAUZI. AHMAD FAUZI. The analysis of nutrient intake density and correlation with nutritional status at Elementary School Children in Bogor. Supervised by IKEU TANZIHA. The purpose of this study was to analyze nutrient intake density and correlation with nutritional status of elementary school student in Bogor. The design of this study was cross-sectional study by random sampling method in four elementary schools. The subject of this study were all students taken from each class, with the total number of subject were 123 students of elementary school. The data collected were primary and secondary data. The data were further anlyzed by Chi Square correlation and Mann Whitney test. The result showed that most of subject had adequate density nutrients score in proteins (61 %) and iron (51 %), while density nutrients score in calcium (61.8 %), vitamin A (95.9 %) and vitamin C (89.4 %) were less. Most of subject's nutrient density in breakfast were categorized poor (78.8 %). There is no significant difference in each category of nutrient intake density for different gender. Most of subject's nutritional status were normal, but 25% of them were obese. The density of proteins intake had significant correlations with nutritional status.
