      Pyuria dan indeks kesehatan pada sapi perah freisien holstein di kawasan usaha peternakan Cibungbulang Bogor

      Abstract
      Pendekatan manajemen kesehatan ternak adalah aspek penting untuk menjamin produktivitas susu sapi perah di kawasan usaha peternakan sapi perah cibungbulang bogor. Pendekatan ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi indeks kesehatan hewan dan teknik uji urinalisis semikuantitattif secara praktis. Hasil evaluasi indeks kesehatan adalah 5 dari 30 ekor sapi dalam kondisi normal, 6 ekor sapi menunjukkan peningkatan frekuensi pernafasan, 7 ekor sapi menunjukkan peningkatan frekuensi pulsus, 12 ekor sapi mengalami peningkatan frekuensi pulsus dan frekuensi pernafasan. Hasil dari uji urin striptest semikuantitatif adalah 2 dari 30 sapi perah yang di uji mengalami pyuria. Satu ekor sapi positif pyuria mengalami peningkatan frekuensi jantung, frekuensi pernafasan dan suhu tubuh. Satu ekor sapi yang lain berada pada kondisi estrus.
       
      Herd health management approach is important aspect to insure milk productivity of dairy cattle at the dairy cattle farm area at Cibungbulang Bogor. This approach can be done by evaluating the animal health index as well as the result of semiquantitative urinalysis. The result of health index evaluation measuring by pulse and breath frequency refilled 5 of 30 cattle in normal condition, 6 cattle had increased breath frequency, 7 cattle had increased pulse frequency, and 12 cattle had increased pulse and breath frequency. The result of semiquantitative urine striptest showed that 2 of 30 cattle had pyuria. One of them had increased in temperature, pulse and breath frequency indicating of urinary tract infection. Another cattle possible in estrus condition.
