Dryland issues such as drught, water shortage, soil acifity and fertility, slope, effective depth, and soil structure is a limiting factor in the development of agricultural activities. To overcome this issues, the necessary soil and water conservation measures. Social and economics conditions in a region quite influential in the process of adoption of soil and water conservation techniques. These factors can be derived from the internal (age, education level, farming experience, land area, land ownership, income, household expenses, and access information) and external (availability of agricultural inputs and capital intensity following the extension, and market opportunities) . This study aims to identify and analyze the social and economic factors of farmers in Sukagalih Village Megamendung Districts Bogor affecting the adoption of soil and water conservation techniques. The results showed that the land area (X5), age (X1), motivation (X13), the counseling intensity (X11), and capital (X10) significantly affect the adoption of soil and water conservation techniques
