      Abstract
Holothurians are marine animal that have important economical and ecological functions. West Nusa Tenggara is one of holothurians producing regions in Indonesia. The research was conducted to analyzed parameters of holothurians existence, holothurians spatial distibrution mapping, and distribution patterns in East Lombok and West Sumbawa waters. The data were analyzed by using Geographic Information System (GIS) and interpolated by Inverse Distance Weight (IDW). Parameters that were observed consist of sea temperature, salinity, pH, DO, depth, and type of bottom subtsrate. The result showed that the most suitable area for holothurians habitat was western part of West Sumbawa waters, reached 8.5 km2. Meanwhile, East Lombok, southern part of Central Lombok and southern part of West Sumbawa waters were suitable for holothurians habitat with area reached 21.1 km2, 8.3 km2, and 4.4 km2, respectively. Based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) known that the parameters influenced on the abundance number of holothurians were temperature, salinitas, pH and depth.
