Small and Medium Entreprises (SMEs) have a contribution to Indonesia economy. This sector afford to supply manpower up to 97.16% from total national manpower. However, this potency still encounters several factor which are hindering SMEs development in Indonesia. One of the reason is there are many SMEs entrepreneurs which doesn‟t have an ideal entrepreneur character yet. This study analyzes correlation between ideal entrepreneur character in Islamic perspective with the success of business and entrepreneur perception to character in entrepreneurship. Descriptive analysis method is used to analyze entrepreneur perception to character in entrepreneurship, while correlation between ideal entrepreneur characters in Islamic perspective with the success of business is analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. Result shows that God consciousness (taqwa) has positive effect on characters of entrepreneurs and characters has postive effect on the success of business.
