Kelayakan Pembesaran Ayam Broiler Sistem Perkandangan Terbuka dan Tertutup Pada CV Perdana Putera Chicken Bogor

Abstract

The potential of broiler chicken consumption is still abundant by an average demand of 1.4 million kg / day in the Jabodetabek area. This causes an opportunity for CV Perdana Putra Chicken to increase the production. The increase in broiler chicken production can be accomplished with the use of technology, especially technology applied for the cage. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of broiler chicken house system uses open and closed house. The study was conducted at farm cage Geledug, Leuwiliang. The method used were qualitative analysis method for non-financial feasibility and quantitative analysis based on investment criteria and switching value. The analysis result showed that the feasibility of such non-financial aspects of the market, technical, legal, management, social and environmental showed both of them feasible to run. The feasibility of the financial aspects showed that both closed and open cage had value of investment criteria consisted NPV, IRR, Net B / C, and Payback Period as well as switching value made the business feasible to run.
