Penerapan LEISA pada Usahatani Padi Sehat dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Pendapatan Usahatani di Gapoktan Harapan Maju dan Gapokan Silih Asih, Kecamatan Cigombong, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat
Abstract
Padi Sehat farming in Gapoktan Harapan Maju and Silih Asih is a low input farming, and the low input concept that has been widely acknowleged is Low External Input Sustainable Agriculture (LEISA). This study was conducted to identify the implementation of LEISA principles in Padi Sehat farming practice, to measure the level and to seek the determinants of LEISA implementation, and also to describe its effect on farm production and farmer income in Gapoktan Harapan Maju and Silih Asih. The result of this research indicated that Padi Sehat farming was a LEISA farming. Padi Sehat farmers’s implementation level of LEISA was higher than that of non-Padi Sehat farmers’s. LEISA Implementation in Gapoktan Harapan Maju and Silih Asih was affected by land tenure, and membership of farmer group. The implementation of LEISA on farming would significantly increase farmer income, return on capital, and farm efficiency.
