Kajian Keterkaitan Pengalaman Pemanfaatan Taman dengan Kenakalan Remaja (Studi Kasus di Kota Bogor)

Abstract

Nowadays, the quality and quantity of juvenile delinquency in Indonesia has increased, such as in Bogor city where juvenile delinquency rate is quite high. However, Bogor city also has community park that has a social function to serve place to interact among the teens so that encourage teens to visit the park. Therefore, the objective of this study was to examine the linkage between park utilization experience with juvenile delinquency. This study was conducted in Bogor city by using descriptive method. The sampling of schools using purposive sampling technique while the sampling of parks determined hypothetically and refered to the existing park area in Bogor city. Then the data were analyzed using statistical analysis with cluster analysis, factor analysis, and chi-square analysis. The results of analysis showed that the sample that did not behave naughty correlated with the opportunity to play to the park more than 3 times. Therefore, we recommended concept of the park that directed to the positive things and refered to three things that need to be developed, that is pleasurable, healthy, and learning.
