Active-walker is the principle of self-organization of agents involved in a system. If the agents move from one state to another then the landscape will change and these changes will determine the chosen next step. This principle is able to explain and model the formation and dynamics of the river flow speed. The calculation of the flow speed uses the basic principles of physics, namely the Newton's Law of mass-momentum conservation and the addition of velocity vectors under the influence of gravitational force. By means of the corresponding conservation of mass-momentum it can be obtained a result which is in a good agreement with the field survey data. Similar result is also found by using a model of the velocity vector addition. But the later model does not describes the real physical condition
