Analisis Risiko Produksi Pembenihan Ikan Arwana Super red di PD Dian Ardyka, Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat.

Abstract

Fishery sector contributes an important contribution in economic condition of Indonesia, one of which is the increase of ornamental fish export volume in increasing the growth of gross domestic product in Indonesia. Arwana super red is one of ornamental fish that is put into the category of export comodity in Indonesia. Arwana super red comodity experiences fluctuation every year. This shows that there is a risk in the business of arwana super red. This risk is also faced by PD Dian Ardyka, one of the biggest arwana super red export companies in Pontianak. The aim of this research was to find the appropriate strategy to overcome the risk in seed production of arwana super red in PD Dian Ardyka by identifying the risk source and making the risk map. The result of this research indicated that the company faced problems when the age of seed was still young. Moreover, the company also faced problems like disease attact, deformed seed, and broken egg on the seed. The alternative strategy proposed in the risk source handling was by using the approach of preventive strategy and mitigation.
