Evaluasi Penerapan Konsep Kota Hijau di Kota Bogor

Abstract

Development of urban areas in Indonesia is very rapid. City is a reflection of local environment condition, citizen behavior and local culture. Activity and development of the city will cause of various environmental problems like the imbalance between urban growth and the improvement of environmental quality. It bring about the city become not liveable. Because of that is very important to create a comfortable city with safety guarantee and be the one with nature by applying the concept of green city. Green city is a concept of a healthy city, considering ecological aspects. This research use Gap Analysis to find out the actual condition of Bogor City and compare it with the ideal condition of green city concept and evalauate the implementation with scoring method. The results of this research showed that Bogor has had a city development plan towards sustainable city, but the implementations still have not been maximized. The implementations not been spread through the region and have not been solve the urban problems of Bogor City.
